A Conference on Grief

Join us on September 9th and 10th for a weekend together as we look biblically at grief.  We are excited to have Dr. Rod Mays, from RTS Charlotte, join us as our keynote speaker.  In addition to Dr. Mays, Dr. Robby Bell and Rev. Josh Squires will be joining us on Saturday morning as they lead breakout sessions.

Grief in Non-Death Situations - Dr. Robby Bell

Robby Bell was a classmate of Barry Dagenhart at Erskine Theological Seminary (ETS).  He graduated from ETS in 1982 and served the Pressly Memorial ARP Church in Statesville, NC from 1982-1989 as their Pastor.  He served as Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling at ETS from 1994-2015, and as pastor of the Young Memorial ARPC in Anderson SC from 2016-2022, retiring March 1, 2022.  Dr. Bell’s father, the late Dr. Jim Bell, pastored the Tirzah ARP Church from 1955-65, and then the Old Providence ARP, from 1965-1982, where their family first met Sarah Dagenhart. He is married to Alice Perry Bell, a retired hospice nurse, and we have 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  We live near Due West SC.
